What kind of wine is Champagne Extra Brut Blanc de Noirs 'L’Esprit Nature' - H.Blin

Champagne Extra Brut Blanc de Noirs 'L’Esprit Nature' - H.Blin is born in the heart of Champagne, near the village of Vincelles, from a cooperative winery that best represents the essence of French tradition combined with a contemporary vision. It is a Blanc de Noirs, meaning a Champagne made exclusively from black grapes, in this case Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir, grown on certified organic land. The result of the renowned Champagne method (also known as the classic method), this wine comes to life from a second fermentation in the bottle that gives it its typical fine and persistent effervescence. The result is an authentic Champagne, with a natural character and great freshness, capable of elegantly expressing the terroir from which it comes.

Vintage details

Each release of L’Esprit Nature is a faithful reflection of the climatic conditions of the harvest year. The grapes are harvested at full ripeness, in vintages characterized by good temperature variations between day and night, a decisive factor in preserving acidity and aromas. Attention to the ripening of the bunches allows the most fruity and mineral side of the two main grape varieties to be expressed.

Winemaking and aging

Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel to keep the fresh fruit aromas intact. This is followed by prise de mousse – the second fermentation in the bottle – which lasts for several months on the lees, enriching the Champagne with complex notes and a creamy texture. The Extra Brut, with a very low sugar dosage, enhances the purity of the wine, offering a dry, taut, and bright sip.

Tasting notes

Color

In the glass, it presents a brilliant golden yellow with amber reflections. The fine and regular bubbles create a persistent crown that testifies to the long stay on the lees and the quality of the craftsmanship.

Nose

On the nose, it releases elegant aromas of ripe fruit – apple, pear, and plum – accompanied by delicate hints of bread crust and dried fruit. Floral and citrus notes complete a harmonious and inviting bouquet.

Palate

On the palate, it is fresh, precise, and well-balanced. The minerality typical of the Vincelles terroir emerges with conviction, while the fine effervescence envelops the mouth with a pleasant creaminess. The finish is long and clean, with notes of citrus peel and toast.

Storage and aging – how to store Champagne Extra Brut Blanc de Noirs 'L’Esprit Nature' - H.Blin

To fully enjoy its characteristics, it is important to store Champagne Extra Brut Blanc de Noirs 'L’Esprit Nature' - H.Blin correctly:
  • Temperature: between 10 and 12°C, constant over time, avoiding thermal shocks
  • Light: keep bottles away from direct light, in a dark place
