The Edizione 47 of Franciacorta “Cuvée Prestige” is a blend – or cuvée – of wines from three different vintages. Each harvest is selected to best express the freshness, structure, and harmony typical of the Ca’ del Bosco house. Favorable climatic conditions have contributed to healthy and fragrant grapes, capable of giving the wine extraordinary vivacity and aromatic freshness of rare precision.Winemaking and aging
The production of Franciacorta 'Cuvée Prestige - Edizione 47' strictly follows the Traditional Method. The grapes – mainly Chardonnay, with small percentages of Pinot Bianco and Pinot Nero – are hand-picked and vinified separately, to preserve the unique characteristics of each plot. After the first fermentation, the base wines are blended to create the final cuvée, which rests on its lees for at least 25 months. This aging period gives the wine body, complexity, and that unmistakable creamy palate that distinguishes all Ca’ del Bosco Franciacorta wines.Tasting notes
