What kind of wine is Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Dry DOCG 'Rive di Carpesica - Lei' - Bellenda
The Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Dry DOCG “Rive di Carpesica - Lei” - Bellenda is a Metodo Classico sparkling wine born in the heart of the Conegliano hills, one of the most suitable areas for the production of Prosecco Superiore. It is an elegant wine with a great personality, capable of combining the freshness and fragrance typical of Glera – the grape variety at the base of Prosecco – with a more complex structure and a fine creaminess obtained thanks to bottle re-fermentation. The result is a refined style, dry but not austere, designed for those who love sparkling wines rich in nuances and with a satisfying drinkability.Vintage details
The Glera grapes come from the hills of Carpesica, one of the most renowned and steep "Rive" of Conegliano Valdobbiadene. The harvest, carried out entirely by hand, selects only the best bunches picked at full ripeness. The season was characterized by a balanced climate, with good temperature variations between day and night, a factor that favored the aromatic intensity and the freshness of the natural acidity of the grapes.Vinification and aging
After a soft pressing, the must ferments at a controlled temperature to preserve the fragrance of the varietal aromas. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the Metodo Classico, with an aging period of about 18 months on the lees. This long contact gives the wine a more complex structure, fine bubbles, and a bouquet rich in nuances. This is followed by another 18 months of aging in the cellar, necessary to achieve a perfect balance between freshness, softness, and persistence.Tasting notes
