What kind of wine is Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Extra Dry DOCG - Borgoluce
Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Extra Dry DOCG - Borgoluce is an elegant and refined sparkling wine, produced in the heart of the Valdobbiadene hills, an area of excellence for Prosecco Superiore. Made from 100% Glera grapes, grown at an altitude of 200 to 300 meters, this wine perfectly represents the fresh and aromatic style typical of the appellation. The secondary fermentation takes place according to the Charmat method (or Martinotti method), which involves a second fermentation in autoclaves to preserve the fruity and floral aromas of the grapes and maintain a pleasant creaminess on the palate.Vintage details
Each vintage of Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Extra Dry DOCG - Borgoluce reflects the specific characteristics of the season. Recent harvests have been distinguished by a balanced climate, with good temperature variations between day and night: ideal conditions for obtaining grapes rich in fragrance and a natural acidity that gives the wine freshness and vivacity.Winemaking and aging
After a gentle pressing of the grapes, the must is fermented in stainless steel at a controlled temperature. The base wine then remains in contact with the lees for about 4 months: this step, called aging on the lees, helps to enrich the structure and softness of the final product. The subsequent secondary fermentation takes place in autoclaves for at least 35 days, according to the Charmat method, to obtain fine and persistent bubbles. Immediately after, the wine is bottled to preserve its fragrance and vibrant freshness.Tasting notes
