What kind of wine is Prosecco DOC Brut 'Berto' Magnum - V8+ Vineyards?
Prosecco DOC Brut 'Berto' Magnum - V8+ Vineyards is a Venetian sparkling wine made from selected Glera grapes, grown in the hilly areas of Treviso. It is produced using the Charmat Method – meaning in an autoclave, to preserve the fresh and fruity aromas of the grape – thus creating a wine with a fragrant and lively profile. It is a Brut, therefore dry and perfectly balanced between acidity and softness, designed for those looking for a modern Prosecco that is easy to drink but of high quality, ideal for conviviality and special occasions in its Magnum version.Vintage details
The recent vintage of Prosecco DOC Brut 'Berto' Magnum - V8+ Vineyards is the result of a careful harvest, conducted between late August and early September, with grapes picked at optimal ripeness to ensure the right balance between sugars and acidity. The temperate climatic conditions with good temperature excursions favored the development of fresh and intense aromas, typical of the Glera grape.Winemaking and aging
After the soft pressing of the grapes, the must ferments at low temperature to enhance the varietal aromas. The second fermentation takes place using the Charmat Method, which means a second fermentation in stainless steel autoclaves for about 30-40 days, giving the wine its delicate effervescence and typical creaminess. After sparkling, the wine rests for a few weeks in tanks, before being bottled in its elegant Magnum version, for greater aromatic evolution and persistence.Tasting notes
