What kind of wine is Trebbiano d’Abruzzo DOC 2023 - Terraviva?
The Trebbiano d’Abruzzo DOC 2023 - Terraviva represents one of the most authentic expressions of the Trebbiano grape grown in the Abruzzo hills, between the Adriatic Sea and the Gran Sasso mountain. It is a white wine with a fresh and mineral character, capable of expressing the territory with simplicity and precision. Terraviva's approach, an organic winery rooted in respect for nature, enhances the purity of the fruit and the Abruzzo winemaking tradition.Vintage details
The 2023 vintage in Abruzzo was marked by a balanced climate, with a mild spring and a summer characterized by sunny days and breezy nights. These conditions favored a slow and regular ripening of the grapes, ensuring an intense aromatic profile and a lively freshness, distinctive elements of this Trebbiano.Vinification and aging
The harvest is carried out manually to best preserve the quality of the bunches. After a soft pressing, fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts, naturally present on the skins, to enhance the connection with the territory. The wine ages for 12 months in large wooden barrels, where it acquires complexity and structure, and then for another 12 months in stainless steel, which maintains its tension and freshness. Bottling takes place without filtration, to offer a genuine and integral product.Tasting notes
