What wine is Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG Brut Nature 2024 - Bianca Vigna

The Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG Brut Nature 2024 - Bianca Vigna is a dry, elegant sparkling wine with a decisive personality, resulting from the winemaking tradition of the hills between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, the beating heart of the DOCG appellation. This wine is made from carefully selected Glera grapes and is produced using the Charmat method (or Martinotti method), which involves a second fermentation in autoclaves, ideal for preserving freshness and fruity aromas.

The Brut Nature style is distinguished by the absence of added sugars after refermentation, offering a clean and dry sip, perfect for those who love authentic, more mineral and naturally expressive sparkling wines of the territory.

Vintage Details

The 2024 vintage was characterized by balanced climatic conditions, with moderate rainfall and well-distributed temperatures, ideal conditions for a slow and complete maturation of the Glera grapes. The harvest, carried out by hand between late September and early October, allowed the grapes to be picked at the right degree of ripeness, guaranteeing an intense aromatic profile and lively acidity.

Winemaking and Aging

After a soft pressing of the grapes, the must ferments at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks to preserve the fruit's fragrance. This is followed by the prise de mousse in autoclaves, according to the Charmat method, for about 60 days. Subsequently, the wine remains for a short period in contact with the fine lees (the solid parts of the yeast) which enrich its body and aromatic complexity, without weighing down its structure. The result is a lively, harmonious sparkling wine of great expressive purity.
